The Event Manager I is responsible for all aspects of operations and event management as related to contract fulfillment, event production, inventory management, relationship building and maintenance of a “one point of contact” philosophy within their assigned accounts. The Event Manager must follow internal procedures, communicate and implement plans to ensure the Client, Attendee, Exhibitor and Hotel Partner’s expectations are consistently exceeded. The Event Manager reports to a Senior Event Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain budget preparation for each assigned event
Accurately set up and oversee events in Passkey
Manage event inventory
Manage an active timeline for each assigned event by due date
Act as liaison to the client, hotel, and event attendees and exhibitors
Internal and external event reporting
Maintain service levels while adhering to set company standards
Lead assigned event teams as needed
Recommend new procedures and help implement changes and /or improvements
Schedule and prepare for the event’s on-site team, to include travel arrangements, hotel assignments, and all needed information for re-booking purposes
Accurately post-event billing on all events
Assist in the development of group campaigns and strategic marketing on behalf of the client
Job Requirements:
Passkey experience recommended
Hotel Contracting experience recommended
Extreme attention to detail

Outstanding follow-up abilities
Standard computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
