Job Purpose:
Support the HUB International sales professionals as a strategic and technical resource throughout the sales cycle. This includes qualifying opportunities and working with both the Producer and the prospect cultivating new business opportunities to ultimately writing new business.

Functions & Responsibilities:
Work with Producers and Prospects to collect pertinent underwriting information to create a complete and detailed insurance submission for insurance company consideration. Create detailed submissions to include Acord applications, exposure spreadsheets and coverage specifications. Create detailed insurance proposals to include a persuasive, articulate executive summary, pricing and exposure exhibits/comparisons, summary of terms and conditions and other pertinent deal information as necessary. Responsible for managing the timing and information flow for multiple sales opportunities at any one point in time while communicating the status of an opportunity to senior management. Apply (basic) proficiency of loss analysis, SIRs, Retrospective Rating/loss sensitive plans on account activity as needed.

Qualifications:
5-7 years related experience. Strong working knowledge of Property, Casualty, Workers’ Compensation coverages required.

Specific experience with Real Estate is required and working knowledge of Construction and Tech related business preferred.

Previous sales related exposure or sales acumen is necessary to fulfill position requirements such as supporting a sales team and working with marketing teams/insurers to close business deals.

College degree. Completion of one or more CPCU exams preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong analytics and ability to think strategically

Strong mathematical aptitude

Computer literacy especially Excel and Word

Effective supervisory skills and high degree of professionalism and motivation

Must hold required licenses

Department Account Management & Service

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree)
