VP, Sales Cloud COO

Location: San Francisco

We are looking for a VP, COO of the Sales Cloud business unit.

The COO will lead, scale, and drive operational excellence for the Sales Cloud, and act as an advisor to the GM and leadership of Core Sales Cloud and CPQ product management to drive success in these key areas:

  • Consistent and thoughtful Product Strategy planning and investment across Core Sales, SFA, CPQ, and other Sales Cloud product areas.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, SIs, and other cross-functional teams to accelerate and drive Sales Cloud Lightning adoption.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leads to accelerate a data-informed, product adoption approach to FY investments, release and roadmap planning, and alignment to the corporate Accountability Performance Matrix (APM).
  • Partner with Sales Strategy, Finance, and Distribution to identify, develop, and operationalize strategic initiatives that accelerate Cloud growth.
  • Develop a cadence and playbook in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure success with strategic accounts and pilot/beta programs.
  • Create & manage the execution of the V2MOM Annual Objectives, including achievement of milestones, quarterly reviews, monthly operational metrics updates. Act as a consultant & help accelerate progress as needed.
  • Participate in organization strategy & design. Partner with team leadership and Employee Success to lead strategy & change management efforts.
  • Act as key business partner to drive annual budget process and support the ongoing management of the budget alongside resource management.

Required Skills:

  • 15+ years experience in a combination of product management, strategy, product analytics, program/project management, consulting or an equivalent field.
  • Proven track record of managing large matrixed teams and direct reports.
  • Extensive experience with product analytics and growth strategies.
  • Past experience working directly with senior leadership.
  • Ability to lead by example with data-informed product decisions.
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple large initiatives concurrently across cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, SIs, and more).
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives, technologists, and able to lead and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to speak the truth even when it is uncomfortable and always keeping Salesforce’s best interest in mind.
  • Proven experience at a hyper-growth, technology company.
  • Advanced Salesforce product knowledge.
