Due to continued double digit growth, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and proven successful VP, COO to work alongside Clarity’s SVP, General Manager to sustain our aggressive pace and growth objectives.
Operations:
This key strategic thought leader will provide operational leadership, executive management and vision to ensure that Clarity has the people, the systems and processes in place to effectively grow the organization and capture significant available market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the operations of Clarity’s Consumer Call Center, Compliance and Data Management groups.
- Working with the VP of Data Management, this position will create, refine and execute Clarity’s Data Strategy, including potential commercial arrangements and acquisitions.
- Partnering with Experian Finance and Sales on pricing, this position will oversee the terms for all client and vendor contracts.
- Measure, report and drive Clarity’s operational performance and develop plans to improve as needed.
- While remaining compliant within regulations and policies, this role will ensure the right people and relevant technology and systems are in place to support our planned rapid growth.
- Drive cross functional collaboration and communication on key initiatives.
- Oversee Clarity’s risk prevention plans and activities.
Strategy:
Strategically focused, The VP, COO will define, as well as, execute strategy and drive the tactics to ensure the business can scale efficiently and effectively. The Candidate will drive business strategy development and lead the annual creation of Clarity’s 5-year strategic plan. The VP, COO works closely with the
SVP, General Manager and Clarity Leadership team to align and cascade the strategy to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual strategic planning process and the related execution implementation plans.
- Perform in depth analysis (e.g. market sizing, competitive landscape mapping, channel assessment, segmentation, financial performance) to generate business insights.
- Identify, gather and assess key external and internal data to drive those analyses.
- Produce compelling materials to support and explain our strategic decision-making and strategy.
- Support market assessment and business case development for new strategic initiatives, partnerships and corporate development opportunities.
- Create a culture of excellence in the articulation of our strategy across Experian while supporting our internal and external communication efforts.
Requirements:
- 10 – 15 years’ experience and growth working within a dynamic and complex operations, fast paced information and/or large volume data services organization
- A high level of intellectual curiosity and desire to learn and understand a unique market segment
- Experience in strategy development and execution
- Experience in creating and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience in achieving operational efficiency through six sigma, lean or other operational efficiently methods is a plus
- Data-informed decision-making and process-oriented mindset
- Strategic problem solver with operational mindset – you easily see the big picture and can translate high-level business goals into actionable plans
- Strong relationship builder, with experience operating and the ability to influence within a complex global organization structure
- Experience with financial processes from both a corporate and line of business perspective
- Passion for problem solving with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
- Excellent, high impact interpersonal communication skills. Ability to assess needs, influence, and instill confidence to senior stakeholders
