The Agency MBS Fund Manager is the new investment vertical at Bridge Investment Group that will manage the mortgage backed securities portfolio. The team will lead all aspects of portfolio management including portfolio construction, trading, risk management, coordinating fund operations as well as supporting capital raising. The position will report to the Chief Investment Officer.

Expectations for the role:
- Ownership of portfolio position and daily risk management reports. Analyze and explain changes in daily risk position.
- Track returns and perform attribution analysis.
- Monitor mortgage market and undertake analyses to support investment decisions and security selection. Maintain MBS relative value framework. Undertake ad-hoc market analysis as needed.
- Coordinate with middle office, back office, fund accounting, tax, investor relations and other departments as required.
- Update investor presentations and communication on a periodic basis.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Competencies
- 6+ years of experience in MBS portfolio risk measurement and management.
- Strong understanding of risk measurement including analysis of yield curve risk, option-adjusted risk analytics, prepayment analysis and relative value analysis. Understanding of ALM framework for levered portfolio preferred.
- Strong understanding and experience in P&L attribution viewed favorably.
- Ability to work with large datasets and undertake complex analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills required. Some familiarity with Bloomberg and YieldBook preferred.
- Strong academic performance and achievement with an undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree preferred, but not required.
