    Harper & Jones is seeking a driven, communicative, and strategic Vice President of Sales based in our Dallas showroom. Our VP of Sales will lead our nation-wide team of Clothiers to achieve aggressive sales goals while fulfilling Harper & Jones’ mission, values, and beliefs.

    We are one of the nation’s top luxury custom menswear companies, offering unparalleled quality in our sales experience and clothing, all delivered by our world-class Clothiers. Our bench made clothing is sewn by hand; and with our patented measuring tools and process, we ensure an accurate fit and fast lead times.

    Our VP of Sales will work to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with all Clothiers; mutual trust and respect is paramount for success in this role. In addition to managing the sales team, you will serve as a key leader at Harper & Jones as we continue to experience rapid growth.

    You will be responsible for simultaneously and successfully managing Clothier, client, and business needs, including:

    • Establishing sales objectives and goals by forecasting and developing monthly and annual sales quotas for all Clothiers and markets.
    • Continuing to develop the Harper & Jones sales process, and ensuring it is implemented and adhered to consistently by Clothiers in all markets.
    • Coaching individual Clothiers on client prospecting, increasing sales and average order size, and client engagement.
    • Working alongside Clothiers in each market to provide ongoing training on-site, including appointment shadowing.
    • Engaging and energizing Clothiers with monetary and non-monetary motivational tactics.
    • Working closely with members of the Harper & Jones team to steer overall direction of the organization, including marketing and lead generation, market penetration, operational objectives, and business development.
    • Preparing and monitoring the sales department budget.
    • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending networking events, participating in professional societies, and keeping current with changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years managing sales teams with proven track record of success (preferably with remote team members)
    • 7+ years successful outside sales (preferably in a luxury brand)
    • Proven experience monitoring and evaluating team members’ progress against stated expectations, and aligning and modifying behavior to meet performance expectations when necessary
    • Proven experience on-boarding, training, maintaining, and motivating a cohesive team
    • Passion and inherent capability for men’s clothing design
    • Travel up to 50% of the year
