Job Description
TEXT2DRIVETM (www.text2drive.com) is a fast-growing technology company looking for an energetic and motivated Vice President of Sales to lead our growth-oriented sales organization. We are looking for an experienced B2B sales leader to take on a key role and lead a diverse team. Youâll join our Leadership team and work closely with Executives to plan and execute against sales targets and strategies. The ideal candidate will help us reach our aggressive revenue targets and improve our current sales processes. We need a leader with the ability to deliver results, build a repeatable sales process and successfully scale a sales organization.
There will be many elements to this role, including:
Strategy:
- Create and implement a long-term sales and revenue strategy, based on performance data and market intelligence
- Generate a robust demand generation strategy for our solutions through sales campaigns, industry networking, and close collaboration with marketing
- Partner with the executive team to create an aligned go-to-market strategy from product creation through sales execution
Execution:
- Establish a disciplined sales management process, including territory definition, quota assignment, and pipeline stage definition and management
- Manage the sales process including client engagement, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiation with C-Level decision makers
- Develop a sales playbook that can be executed on by every individual in the sales organization
Team Leadership:
- Design, hire and coach a high performing sales organization
- Create a performance-driven sales culture through clear goal setting and aggressive management against quota and headlight performance indicators
- Monitor team performance, providing tailored coaching and development to the team to help them achieve their goals
Weâre looking for a strong candidate with:
- Minimum 7 years of SaaS sales experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience building and running a sales organization, with at least 2 years at a single company
- Industry knowledge of Automotive Technology is a plus
- Demonstrated success in exceeding both individual and team quotas
- Demonstrated success in dealing with fast-paced, start-up environments
- Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration, including sales and technology
