The VP of Operations for Motto will serve as the lead relationship holder and liaison between franchisees and corporate. He/she will be accountable for balancing leadership between delivering quality relationships and quantitative results, be responsible for translating the Motto Franchising, LLC value propositions in day-to-day operations, providing direction and focus to the Franchise Development team and fostering the teamâs understanding in a way that aligns and partners with franchisees to deliver results against defined business goals.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong, efficient and compliant franchise development operations. This includes implementation of business development strategies that will expand market share for Motto Franchising, LLC as well as managing the onboarding, training and development of franchisees within the Motto Mortgage office network.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Engagement, Consulting and Training:
- Developing and executing training and coaching programs to existing Franchise owners to increase their production/profitability
- Ensure owner training programs are thorough and delivered in a timely fashion
- Manage team of Franchise Development Consultants responsible for delivery of consistent on-boarding experience and ongoing support for franchisees.
- Manage accountability and operational activities of team
- Assist offices with recruiting Loan Officers when needed
- Promote office adoption, engagement and be an advocate for package of tools and resources
- Effectively articulate the value propositions of Motto Franchising to prospective and existing owners
- Business Development and Strategy
- Identifying and presenting opportunities for business growth and expansion
- Support sales team with education, materials and participation in sales calls when needed
- Wholesale lender management and relationship building within wholesaler community
- Spokesperson for the brand to the Motto Mortgage office network and to the industry when necessary.
- Operations/Administration:
- Delegate appropriate authority and responsibility to achieve efficient franchise development operations and quality customer service
- Recommend solutions to improve service quality, raise staff productivity, improve retention, and increase overall revenue potential
- Creates and maintains budget controls and ensures proper management of expenses
- Contracts and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all company standards, franchise model and branding
- Oversee licensing, contracts and compliance as it pertains to Motto Mortgage

Education and Experience
- Bachelorâs Degree required, MBA a plus.
- Experience working for a franchise brand.
- Mortgage experience a plus.
- Five (5) or more years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Proven ability to thrive in a goal-oriented, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude to drive operations and production to achieve ambitious results.
- Established ability to identify and develop associates with leadership or other skills.
- Travel Required (20%)
