Duties: Responsible for planning projects, providing cost estimates for team deliverables, gathering requirements, analyzing functional requirements, supervising implementation, reviewing code, prioritizing issues and automating corporate and external reporting. Ensure end-to-end product delivery and quality of projects. Drive activities for key projects and strategic management objectives including technology streamlining, processing improvements, effort reduction, risk mitigation, and security compliance. Provide guidance to business users and developers to create and implement reporting business logic, data validations, and rules for identifying data quality issues. Manage developers to create data models and model driven solutions and applications. Design technical solutions to manage data, process data, and report and access the data. Conduct training sessions to train and develop team members. Coordinate production code migration activities, provide effort estimations, and perform resource management.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelorâs degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: working on financial regulatory reports, financial products, and associated financial regulations; financial services, data analytics, compliance, and risk controls; SQL; and Data Modeling. Requires two (2) of experience with: Overseeing the design, build, and go-live of new application code as part of the Software Development Lifecycle; object oriented programming such as Java, C++, or Python; Unix; modeling in ErWin and MagicDraw; data mining and troubleshooting utilizing big data technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, and Spark.
