Project Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager and supervises Project Engineers and/or Project Controls Engineers on the site team. The project is located in Gallatin, Kingston and Clinton, Tennessee.

· Working closely with the project’s Superintendent to schedule/manage resources and budget

· Customer reporting and interaction

· 3rd Party Engineering reporting and interaction

· Scheduling using Primavera P6

· Using Construction & Project management software including Heavy Job

· Preparing or reviewing various daily, weekly and monthly project reports

· Reviewing QA/QC documents

· Reviewing or preparing shop drawings and submittals

· Preparing estimates for new work projects

· Identifying the need for and negotiating Change Orders

· Reporting earned revenues to accounting to prepare invoices for review

· Reviewing technical drawings

· Surveying & site layout with GPS equipment

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience is required; however, the ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, including management of multiple onsite projects. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Advanced level of computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

CAD experience is a plus.

Experience working in Primavera is a plus, but must have a working knowledge of project scheduling and logic.

Ability to read and understand all project documents including construction drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs and submittals

Thorough understanding of cost coding and budgets

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead project level meetings.
