We are currently seeking a Project Manager for our Newport News, VA location.

You will demonstrate success by:
  • Being responsible for providing team leadership to a customer-focused team or group of teams committed to increased quality and productivity.
  • Supporting the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans including the responsiblity for formulating, guiding and directing the scope of works in support of Navigation and Communication customers.
  • Managing technicians daily work schedules and overseeing project efforts by tracking manpower, resources and support efforts of multiple projects.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplinded project team.
  • Possessing excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with customers and technical professionals of all levels.
  • Applying contractual terms and conditions to each individual project to meet performance goals as required by the customers’ statements of work and ensuring technical, schedule and cost performance objectives are met for external customers as well as internally.
  • Being a Self-Starter, demonstrating solid judgement; understanding when to seek guidance with a strong ability to think and act independently under limited oversight and direction.
  • Assisting in the development and mintenance of program Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS) to include installation schedules, manpower, subcontractor efforts, and material resource allocations.
  • Developing subcontractor Statements of Work (SOW) and supervise all subcontractor services.
  • Ensuring employees follow organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring employees receive the appropriate training in accordance with the established company policies for the tasks being performed.
  • Supervising and generating block diagrams of various systems using VISIO format.
  • Interfacing effectively with customers and vendors.
  • Assisting the Prgram Manage in proposal development responses to RFQ/RFPs.
  • Assisting the Program Manager in employee recruitment, selections and evaluations.
  • Other duties as assigned
