National Account Manager, Hotels and Entertainment

The purpose of the National Account Manager, Hotels & Entertainment role is to drive vertical and horizontal distribution, volume, High 5 execution and scalable programs within assigned hotel properties. This role will work closely with the field teams to drive compliance and execution within Corporate Hotel Chains and Franchised Hotel Groups across the United States. The National Account Manager will build and execute concepts that improve Red Bull‘s brand image & drive consumer pull in hotels through US On Premise strategies.

National Account Management

Builds strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key account decision makers and stakeholders

Customizes presentations utilizing business insights to appeal to customer’s needs in order to gain execution and programming

Creates account programming such as LTO’s, staff programs, etc. that are relevant to each account and drives volume

Negotiates contracts to drive execution and programming while maintaining appropriate spends per case

Conducts business reviews and holds partners accountable to deliver upon agreed upon execution and programs

Participates in relevant Trade Shows and Conferences

Cross Functional Facilitation

Builds strong relationships and credibility throughout the organization in order to influence and drive initiatives at the region level

Works with HQ On Premise Marketing and Brand Marketing to create custom account programs and ensure brand standards are intact

Communicates with key stakeholders within the Business Units/ Regions to drive execution, and to provide and receive account and program feedback

Conducts regular reviews with SDOPS and DOPS to view program results as well as year to go plans

Aligns with Distribution Team to ensure proper route to market is in place for each account

Aligns with key Distributor Partners in Region to keep National Accounts top of mind and to drive business initiatives and accountability

Works with Musketeers & ROPMs in select markets to drive the National 12 x 10 Hotel Program

Drives On Premise Marketing Initiatives in targeted Hotel Properties & Groups

Develops programs to motivate, engage and reward staff

Works with trade marketing and 3rd party agencies to develop relevant social/ digital programming to drive brand and product relevance

Creates drink programs that deliver a premium product experience

Administrative Management

Establishes and manages budgets by account, constantly analyzing RIO and rate per case

Plans and tracks volume monthly by account chain

Analyzes distribution and non-buy reports on a monthly basis to close gaps

Works closely with Non-Commercial Key Account Manager counterparts to ensure accurate reporting from Food Service/Broadline Distributors and to ensure the best route to market strategies are utilized to yield the greatest volume & distribution results

EXPERIENCE


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • 5+ years of On Premise sales experience with a strong track record of driving growth in Hotel Accounts
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and utilize business insights
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven success with scalable programming that delivers sales results
  • Creative, solution-oriented mindset with an eye for details
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • University – Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Fluent in English
  • Travel up to: 75%
