Job Summary

The Master Data Management – Business Analysis Lead will work with business and technology in building out current and future MDM state, business process, system interfaces, and technology platforms.

Major Responsibilities: The Master Data Management Lead will work closely with technology and business data leads on both tactical and strategic MDM solutions, to enable a less complex data environment positioned to scale for future business growth. This function will conduct deep dive current state analysis including all aspects of customer integration across the ecosystem of business processes. The candidate will use current state analysis to contribute to future state requirements, design, vendor analysis, options and selections.

Ensure operational execution of daily responsibilities for the following functional areas:

  • Conduct current and future state assessments
  • Maintain current and future state MDM alignment with the following themes
  • Improve business efficiency and optimize business processes
  • Consolidate, simplify and modernize across the enterprise
  • Driving Data services standards strategies and procedural processes
  • Alignment of data initiatives with the data strategy
  • Contribute to the following initiatives
  • Master Data Management
  • Reference Data Management
  • Core Banking Transformation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with 10+ years of Master Data Management and Core Banking experience with people management responsibilities.
  • Hands on experience with Informatica MDM platform and excellent knowledge of its features and functionality
  • Solid understanding of master data management, reference data management and data management standard methodologies in areas such as data sourcing, metadata management, data quality management, root cause analysis and process design
  • Experience in writing detailed business requirement documents and ability to translate business language into standard documentation
  • Experience and knowledge of frequency and duplication analysis, cross dataset dependencies, redundancy analysis.
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant industry data quality practices and demonstrate ability to connect data creation, transformation, and transmission lifecycle.
  • Experience and knowledge of workflow capabilities that provides coordination of human and system interaction with master data to enforce data quality.
  • Ability to break down complex requirements into meaningful, structured and actionable parts
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to understand and collaboratively solve business problems
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with internal partners and external vendors
  • Detailed-oriented planner – understand business drivers and solutions
  • Experience with SQL, data profiling and analysis using Excel and hands on diagramming skills
  • Ability to handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Experience in highly distributed complex business and technology environments and emerging technologies
  • Can analyze complex business and technical issues and identifies opportunities to improve performance and efficiency
