Land Acquisition Manager
Summary: Colorado Land Acquisitions (COLA, LLC) is seeking a qualified Land Acquisition Manager to
work with our Land Team to find new growth opportunities in Northern Colorado. The local office is based in
Firestone and will provide land deals for Horizon View Homes; part of the View Homes Corporation
headquartered in Colorado Springs.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of the Northern Colorado single-family detached and single-family attached markets
- Identify market areas to grow the Division
- Source new land opportunities to meet the business plan
- Negotiate terms with landowners, developers, and brokers
- Work with seller and attorneys to draft purchase and sale agreements
- Work with VP of Finance and Regional President on proformas and CMAâs
- Assist with due diligence and entitlements
- As needed, source raw water for new deals
- Coordinate closing with title, finance and seller on properties
- Coordinate with the Land Development team on upcoming communities
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land acquisitions with developer or builder
- Bachelorâs Degree in one of the following: Finance, Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or Planning
We currently have over 800 finished lots under contract to close in the within the 12 months and need to secure deals for 2021 and beyond.
