GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
This position manages the phases, activities and tasks given specific time, cost and quality constraints to deliver the required project outcome and achieve total customer satisfaction. This individual will be the primary planning and coordination contact for our IT vendors and Real Estate in new store or relocation store activities related to activating IT systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS) OF THE POSITION
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Manage small to medium complexity IT projects to include, but not limited to, working with IT network vendors and LL internal teams for new stores, relocating stores, and store circuit replacements.
- Develop full-scale project plans using MS-Project and/or Excel and associated communications documentation.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path using MS-Project and/or Excel.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Identify project stakeholders, set and continually manage project expectations r of those stakeholders. Renegotiate delivery dates as needed and keep project team members/vendors aligned with target dates.
- Set and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues and provide conflict resolution within the project team.
- Develop and deliver weekly progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation (as applicable), and presentations.
- Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle and inclusion of mandatory artifacts from an audit compliance perspective.
- Documents and develops procedures for store openings and remodeling.
- Coordinates with vendors, I.T. personnel, and Sales Operations for store openings or remodeling.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems preferred
Related Experience, Qualifications and/or Certifications:
- 2+ years of relevant and progressive experience with IT project management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Experience in a public company is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proficient in MS-Project, Word, Sharepoint, advanced Excel skills.
- PMP or CSM preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems to analyze, plan and lead project initiatives from inception to completion.
- Experience resolving vendor related issues, managing vendor resources -software and hardware providers, onsite, near shore and offshore.
- Ability to work to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Computer Skills / Special Equipment Knowledge:
- Experience with one or more of the following a plus: ERP system, cloud based technology implementation, network/server infrastructure project.
