Facebook is looking to hire a Head of Workforce Diversity & Inclusion to join the Diversity team leading across our diversity business partners, engagement and community pillars. This new leadership role will be responsible for setting long-term strategy and defining our approach as it relates to diversity and inclusion across our workforce. We are looking for a strong leader who can scale our existing functions to align to Facebook’s growth and our overall mission of giving people the tools to build community and connect the world. Reporting directly to the Global Chief Diversity Officer, this person will bring thought leadership, deep insights and strategic thinking to the role while partnering successfully with other leaders such as the Head of HR Business Partners, Head of Recruiting and Head of People Analytics. The ideal candidate will be a highly strategic operator, an excellent people manager, and have a successful and progressively responsible leadership track record in fast-paced companies. This position will be located in our Menlo Park office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, inspire and develop the deep subject matter experts on the Diversity Business Partner and Diversity Engagement teams to produce measurable results directly tied to Facebook’s business and people goals
  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies in partnership with HR and Recruiting leaders as it relates to recruitment, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement and retention
  • Influence better decisions related to people practices and HR priorities through compelling data, analysis and recommendations for Facebook’s business that aligns with the company’s people values
  • Drive leadership awareness, commitment and accountability for the employee experience and diversity action plans across the business
  • Partner with Communications to regularly communicate internal and external diversity and inclusion initiatives, events and progress
  • Establish governance, mission, budget and oversight for all D&I work that impacts Facebook’s workforce
  • Partner with People Analytics team to develop and analyze metrics for measuring progress and effectiveness of the diversity and inclusion strategy
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 12+ years of experience in either HR, or Talent Management or Product Management or Diversity and Inclusion or other disciplines
  • 8+ years people management experience
  • Demonstrated experience articulating a vision, translating it into executable strategy and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against the plan
  • Experience in translating external and internal trends into innovative practices
  • Proven track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Communication experience exhibited at all levels within an organization
  • Experience translating data and analytics to develop insights, telling stories, driving decisions and measuring impact
  • Interpersonal experience with experience developing relationships with peers and leaders across an organization
