Werum IT Solutions America, Inc., an industry leading software firm within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Head of Sales to join our team. As a Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives to generate and qualify our sales pipeline, ultimately closing business with new and existing accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with senior and executive management to ascertain relevant and strategic business challenges facing prospective customers
- Assist in identifying and obtaining potential new customers
- Provide team support in new project acquisitions
- Present Werum and PAS-X to prospective customers in meetings through various methods
- Conduct customer target mapping and identify key contacts
- Preparation of and participation in trade shows and conferences
- Map customer requirements to MES functionality
- Provide account management to existing Werum customers as needed
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree in science or business is required
- A minimum 5 years of experience and knowledge in technical sales, as well as 2 years of management experience is required
- Knowledge of key IT systems used in manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to quickly learn software functionality for demonstration & consulting purposes Familiarity with
- GMP/pharma environment and pharmaceutical process knowledge is a plus
- Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as persuasive presentation skills
- Self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Persistent in pursuing leads
