Foodservice Distribution Manager

The Foodservice Distribution Manager is responsible for the relationship with our foodservice distribution network and comprehensively managing foodservice sales across several distributors. The main priorities include owning distribution and volume goals within the region and developing premium brand execution in channel in alignment with national strategy. Key responsibilities include: communicating strategic priorities, driving sales initiatives with foodservice distributors, expanding distribution, creating annual business plans, tracking results and KPI execution, and maintaining an effective partnership with the On Premise organization.
Grow foodservice volume in designated region through effective management of broadline distributors
Establish an annual business plan with distributors based on the strategic priorities and objectives from Headquarter Sales Group (HQSG)
Develop effective processes and communication practices with distribution management to achieve Red Bull goals through their sales force
Directly train and support distributor sales force to succeed on sales initiatives, blitzes, and objectives
Manage optimum pricing according to channel-specific pricing strategy set from HQSG
Identify and navigate hierarchy, systems, and key personnel within each distributor location including Account Executives, District Sales Managers, and Distributor Sales Representatives
Active engagement of each distributorâs leadership team through Director and VP level
Integrate programming with distributor incentive structures to drive sales force attention and execution for Red Bull
Work in field with team and drive Non-Commercial Account Managers in respective Region to develop effective programs, relationships, and collaboration internally and with distributor field personnel
Maintain strong working knowledge of key Red Bull systems for product and POS delivery, results reporting, and market management
Manage KPI results on a monthly basis and meets with teams to review results and plan
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
- Outstanding sales experience and track record in FMCG industry, foodservice preferred (5+ years)
- Supplier experience preferred, Broadline distributor experience preferred
- FMCG distributor management preferred
- Demonstrated ability to teach, develop, and manage distributors
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset to work independently to drive business results
- Excellent communication skills including presentation and training ability
- Clear and proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and trade marketing strategies
- Excellent negotiator and influencer
- Cross functional work and change management experience a plus
- Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid Driverâs License
- Bachelorâs Degree required
- Fluent in English, additional languages an advantage
- Travel up to: 50%
