Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years’ administrative assistant/office experience; proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook; database experience required. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Must be a self-starter, types 50 w.p.m.

Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Microsoft Office/computer experience. Ability to interact with internal clients and the public. Must display professionalism and confidence. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

Provides administrative assistance and clerical functions to the COO and medical staff by processing correspondence, compiling information and preparing replies. Reviews correspondence/reports which require action and recommends solutions or courses of action, processes and distributes reports. Responds to requests, notifying and scheduling staff meetings and providing instructions/directions to staff. Provides information to callers/visitors both internal and external and addresses issues or routes calls to the appropriate person. Maintains files and records per company policy and departmental needs. Provides support for other departments as needed; to include organizing events, managing attendees, sending appropriate correspondence, ordering materials, taking meeting notes, creating agendas. Tracks staff development/compliance and evaluation collection.

Work Environment/ Physical Demands: Sedentary to light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel: This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday – 8:30-5:00. Some early morning, evening and weekend hours when needed.
