The Contracts Administration Manager will oversee the contracting process from inception of a contract request to execution, including appropriate archiving and storage; manage and ensure adherence to the contracting policies, processes and templates; administer the contract management system; and reviewing, drafting and negotiating various types of agreements. Having a positive approach, a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential skills for the role.

RESPONSIBILITES

Manage and monitor contract life-cycle from beginning to end (intake, review, drafting, negotiation, obtaining approvals and signatures and filing)

Collaborate and provide legal support to internal business teams and third parties to gather and synthesize information for agreements

Help define procedures and practices within the Legal and Compliance Department to promote efficient workflows and handling of legal requests

Review, draft, and negotiate various types of agreements, exhibits, SOWs, and amendments under the supervision of attorneys, including nondisclosure, customer supply and services, supply chain/procurement, consulting, and others

Oversee, manage and update the Company’s contracts database

Develop, update and manage standard templates

Track status of contracts and hold responsible parties accountable for agreed upon deadlines

Manage special projects and tasks as assigned and in collaboration with other team members

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

At least 10 years of relevant experience managing contracts, particularly in a corporate setting with a high volume of customer contracts

Paralegal Certificate helpful

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be an outstanding communicator and team player who demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience in contract administration/contract management

Strong working knowledge of Conga or similar contract administration system

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)

Understanding of legal terminology to respond to contract questions and negotiating exhibits, statement of works in software industry

Ability to multi-task and monitor several customer accounts

Schedule flexibility in order to meet deadlines and unexpected requirements

Ability to work independently with strong follow-through skills

High level of accountability

Can-do attitude; comfortable working in a high-performance environment
