Role Summary:
Cox Communications is seeking a technically proficient and dynamic team player to join the Ethics and Compliance group as a Compliance Project Manager. As an integral member of the team, this position will assist in the development and implementation of new compliance initiatives and tools and will be responsible for technical and administrative aspects of the day to day operations of the doing business right compliance and ethics program.
The successful candidate should have 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of related fields (i.e. project management, compliance programs, data administration, analytics) or academic equivalent training or projects. Specific experience with Compliance programs strongly desired. Experience with audit, finance, investigations, business intelligence or AI tools a plus.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Assists in the design and development of future compliance programs and related tools to comply with the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
  • Oversees existing Compliance Risk Assessments and works with business leaders to document and prepare a trend or gap analysis of current compliance programs.
  • Partners with compliance project stakeholders, internal customers, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to design, document and provide ongoing management of new compliance programs to include mandatory reporting, training requirements, and policies necessary to comply with the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
  • Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure new compliance projects are implemented and sustained successfully.
  • Creates and maintains tools for stakeholders to identify and escalate compliance risks, using both internal and external information to surface compliance risk patterns and assists in the development of analytics and dashboarding for compliance programs.
  • Serves as an administrator of the Ethics Hotline case management system, including training and adding new users, ensuring proper access is granted, and deactivating terminated employees from the system.
  • Participates in the investigation of ethics and compliance matters as necessary.
  • Creates content for the Integrity Center website as well as a monthly newsletter of hot topics using various compliance resources.
  • Collaborates with different departments and team members on awareness campaigns and participates in them.
  • Maintains the Board Indemnification disclosure list and Directors & Officers insurance documents and makes updates annually with the Conflict of Interest Certification results. Communicates approved determinations to employees.
  • Manages incoming Conflict of Interest disclosure cases to the Ethics Hotline case management system.
  • Assists in the ongoing maintenance of the Company’s records information management programs, providing leadership and training to Records Information Stewards, implementing awareness campaigns and rollouts, and supporting RIM initiatives.
  • Serves as the Site Administrator for the PolicyTech policy management system.
  • Works with privacy subject matter expert and security personnel to review and respond to related customer concerns and supports privacy attorney with annual CPNI filing, employee training, and other privacy initiatives.
  • Educates new employees at Orientation about the Ethics Hotline and ethical dilemma training; and ensure that new employees complete required ethics training.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


Minimum:
  • 3+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. compliance programs, project management, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-pasted, results oriented environment.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent project management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Must be able to lead collaborative teams
  • Must have demonstrated strong technical skills needed to gather information for reporting purposes.
  • Must be able to create or manipulate content and presentations in a variety of media or programs.
  • Must be able to take initiative to implement organizational programs under general supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred:
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.).
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
  • Compliance Certifications a plus.
