Credence Management Solutions is seeking a Journeyman-level Common Operating Picture (COP) Analyst to support operations at the National Guard Coordination Center (NGCC) in Arlington, VA. The staff of the NGCC provides shared situational awareness of Domestic Operations to the National Guard Bureau (NGB) J33 and NGB senior leadership, in the National Guard’s efforts to support Local and State Civil Authorities, Department of Defense Combatant Commands, and Other Federal Governmental Agencies. This position is located at the Temple ARNG Readiness Center in Arlington, VA Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities:
The COP Analyst shall monitor, track and collect information regarding the common informational picture from various COP sources, including the NGCC Team Chief, the NGCC Operations Team, Joint Information Exchange Environment (JIEE), Defense Connect Online (DCO), Situational Awareness Geospatial Enterprise (SAGE), Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), Guard Knowledge Online (GKO), other Federal and State interagency websites and reports, NGB shared drives, NGCC email and data archives. From this, the COP Analyst shall provide a situational status report regarding NG activity for review and approval by the NGCC Team Chief on a daily basis, multiple times each day if required by specific operational conditions, in accordance with existing templates and procedures.

The COP Analyst shall monitor various JIEE and Excel databases, recent and archived reports, and Joint Force Headquarters-States (JFHQ-S), Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and Combatant Command websites and reports for updates to the status of worldwide training and operational deployments of NG personnel.

The COP Analyst shall prepare draft daily, weekly, monthly and annual status reports on support to Combatant Commands, DOMOPS and Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions

The COP Analyst shall attend and participate in NGCC Team briefings and meetings, including but not limited to: twice-daily Shift Change Briefings and weekly Team Chief Meetings.

The COP Analyst shall participate in exercises and or actual events/incidents on average of six (6) times per year. The COP Analyst shall draft After-Action-Reports, to include lessons learned, for NGCC Team Chief’s review and approval. The COP Analyst shall input the approved AARs and lessons learned into the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).

The COP Analyst shall monitor SSA tools and products, which are identified in the SOPs, and alert the NGCC Team Chief upon the receipt of Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Assistance (RFAs) by OSD, JCS, JFHQ, or Combatant Commands and inform the NGCC Team on the content of the request(s). This activity may be required on a daily basis, multiple times each day if required by specific operational conditions.

Job Requirements:
Top Secret security clearance

BA/BS and at least 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed or 7 years of directly related experience.

Must be able to work alternating work schedule of four 12-hour shifts, followed by four days off, six weeks on day shift (0645-1845) followed by six weeks on night shift (1845-0645).

The Common Operating Picture Manager must have the skill level, the knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline.

Must be able to work independently and must have the ability to apply the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise.

Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines.
