Position Summary:
The Chief Operating Officer role is an advocate first; ensuring that all persons served to receive the opportunity to receive services that support and encourage their wants and needs. The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The COO role maintains command of diverse business operations; requiring the COO to be an experienced and efficient leader. The
COO role is a vital member of the brand ambassador team at AIA, which requires to be active in our community in the promotion of the AIA brand. The COO position is responsible for the oversight of all AIA operations, including but not limited to fiscal oversight, management oversight, and AIA program creation and expansions.
Accountability:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.
- Act as lead “client-care officer” through direct contact with every client and partner.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
- Represent AIA as a prominent brand ambassador with clients, investors, and business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
- Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing,
Sales, Finance, etc.)
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Assist, as required, in raising additional capital at appropriate valuations to enable the Company to meet sales, growth, and market share objectives.
- Meeting all deadlines efficiently and consistently.
- Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors
- Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

Experience:
- Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role.
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Experience in fundraising will be a plus.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year
