Office of the CFO, People & Culture Manager
We are looking for a People and Culture Manager, to partner with the CFO, Chief of Staff and the CFO direct reports (L2s) to be a champion of our culture, helping the team understand, communicate and live our values while promoting morale that will allow us to achieve our goals.
The People and Culture Manager will join the Office of the CFO Group. This influential team is responsible for key aspects of HPâs overall finance strategy, communication and key highly confidential projects. If you bring us good ideas regarding Finance, these ideas can be incorporated into our regular reviews to the CFO and the CFO Staff.
Some of the responsibilities of this role could include (but will not be limited to) the following:
- Lead The HP Way with periodic strategic planning for culture and people programs in partnership with Finance leadership and corporate experts.
- Deliver and maintain a multi-year roadmap that supports ongoing people transformation through effective culture and people programs.
- Enable the Corporate and Finance strategy across Finance L2 organizations via effective management of change artifacts.
- Select, develop and facilitate culture ambassadors throughout the organization â including all managers.
- Provide consultation and facilitation to teams requiring support in their change processes.
- Deliver an annual culture, engagement and communications program aligned with corporate partners.
- Manage the monthly roll-up of the organizational L2 calendar of activities.
- Manage events and related logistics including management of vendors.
- Act as brand leader through effective content planning and management.
- Maintain an engagement return-on-investment model and propose the annual budget for culture, engagement and communications programming.
- Deliver management reporting on key engagement indicators.
- Play a lead role in other ad hoc projects and/or priorities.
- Project management support.
Education and Experience Required:
Essential:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma, preferably with a business or scientific major; MBA is desired
- 7+ years related experience in large corporate
- Experience with and a deep passion for people management and relationship building
- Excellent understanding of internal communications channels, content development, and metrics
- Strong business acumen and a keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive communications
- A natural coach and mentor with an ability to foster relationships with all levels of the organization, to relate well with others, to listen effectively
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Advanced communication (use storytelling), leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills.
- Passion for employee communications and the overall employee experience.
- Excellent project management, problem solving, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Deep knowledge of employee communications strategy, tools and vehicles.
- Analytical thinking with solid finance knowledge
- Integrity, reliability, enthusiasm and energy to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to understand complex products, and analyze transaction and process flows
- Exhibited leadership with ability to work autonomously
