The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for executing our Founder’s strategic vision across all e-commerce brands under the 310 LLC umbrella; including driving one of our fastest growing and most dynamic brand, 310 Nutrition. Our leader will act on behalf of our Founder to implement the direction of the business, by continuing to drive financial return, sustainable growth, and organizational health. In this role, you must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, have a “scrappy” mindset, and be ready to take our middle-market company to our first investment stage.
The role will be based out of our Los Angeles headquarters and will report directly into our hands-on Founder. The CEO will be responsible for overseeing Marketing, Development, Creative, Operations & Fulfillment, Customer Service/Retention & Loyalty, and Human Resources to support the growth of our brands.
Desired characteristics and experience we are looking for:
- 15+ years of marketing experience preferably working with CPG e-commerce brands.
- 10+ years of experience working across the full DTC marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion, and engagement) and have a background in owning and managing a budget, forecasting, and delivering on monthly goals of spend, CPA, ROAS, Retention, and LTV.
- Due diligence and experience taking at least one middle market-company ($50 million) through an exit.
- Experience leading a company to attract investment partners and strategically building our brand to be both investable and sellable.
- 10+ years of experience managing multi-functional in-house teams and external agencies for CPG and/or direct response companies.
- Analytical thinker who is always seeking out new ways to drive new customer growth and to improve the retention curve.
- Possess superior leadership and creative problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial and strategic approach to resource development, and communications and help guide a company through phases of growth.
- Can combine deep analytical skills with consumer empathy, to ensure we are always delivering delightful, customer-centric experiences
- Ability to effectively lead a team with a commitment to quality and productivity, focusing on goals, measurement, results, and accountability.
- A background in nutrition, wellness, and beauty related industries is desirable.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of time
