What you’ll do…
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing GMV sales for Walmart international e-commerce marketplaces. You will generate growth by driving International marketplace adoption among the top US sellers as well as maximizing seller sales in those markets. Seller acquisition is a priority and you will be responsible for generating leads, closing sellers and ensuring on-boarding into the international marketplaces. To drive Seller performance you will foster collaboration with international markets and cross-functional teams to diagnose, recommend and ensure seller implementation. You will play a key role in driving seller service development, identifying and ensuring that the seller needs are prioritized with our service, product and engineering teams. Your role will be key in executing Walmart’s cross border trade e-commerce strategy, you will be a CBT Champion and represent Walmart international marketplaces and the cross border trade business across Walmart business and partners.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Drive seller acquisition of Walmart international marketplaces- including generating leads, closing and ensuring onboarding
- Drive seller sales performance and growth on the Walmart international marketplaces
- Drive collaboration across stakeholders to create and implement appropriate and cost-efficient solutions based on the sellers needs and Walmart international market’s objectives
- Ensure Seller and Market NPS
- Collaborate with Walmart US marketplace teams to leverage learnings and best practices
- Partner with Seller service team in service adoption
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
- Gather and communicate learnings and build best practices for seller acquisition and seller performance
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree in business, communication, arts or science
- Business development experience
- Self-starter and highly resourceful. Entrepreneurial mindset
- Know-how in e-commerce, partner management and account management
- Must be able to diagnose problems, think critically, and plan and execute against findings
- Great interpersonal skills and must be able to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships
