We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced growth professional who is passionate about the future of television and eager to help build and innovate in the media, advertising, and measurement space. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experience, data-loving individual, willing to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty, while also leading a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, synthesis, measure, and report on our key metrics on all platforms.
  • Work across all teams at Cheddar to provide them with data, insights, and strategic advice to allow them to grow audience, revenue, and be fully informed with data needed to perform their role.
  • Manage the Social Media and OnDemand video teams with a focus on growing audience, engagement, revenues, and our brands overall.
  • Create and manage platform programming strategies that are tailored to each platform, while maintaining efficiencies.
  • Work with the sales team to monetize our platforms audience and 20M+ social followers.
  • Work with the internal sales and client services teams to provide insight into our audience and provide externally sharable statistics that prove the value of working with Cheddar.
  • Work with programming teams on the News12 and News12+ teams to help drive meaningful ratings growth.
  • Pull and utilize data from every programming platform to inform strategy at all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage and lead a team, while getting your hands dirty in the data and tools used.
  • Deep experience with video, content, and news platforms. Including their analytics and insights tools.
  • Understanding of media research systems such as Nielsen, comScore, and/or Cogent. This should be coupled with a fluent understanding of media research and media research principles.
  • Mix of creative and analytical professional experience and mentality.
  • Experience with predictive modeling techniques and connecting media and business variables to key business outcome variables.
  • Experience growing fans on social; experience managing Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube video campaigns.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to clearly and efficiently present information visually to internal teams and clients.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exemplary Excel skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented – passionate about insights and data analysis.
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to roll up your sleeves.
