Working within the Digital Garage we are looking for a Scrum Master to develop new capabilities for our team using an Agile delivery framework.

Reporting to 2 Growth Leads, you will have ownership of agile WoW across 2 teams that work on a daily basis on building different capability projects but need to work in sync and share.

You will be the glue that holds the 2 teams together, serve them when needed, remove blockers or impediments that hinder project progress and strive for increasing velocity whilst maintaining the core of agile methodologies (sprint planning, hypotheses formulation and post sprint reflexion…).


You’ll have:

  • Experience of continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing and containerisation
  • Gains respect from his/her team and be willing to get their hands dirty to get the job done
  • Be able to communicate well with teams, stakeholders, and senior management
  • Be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
  • Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls.
  • Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management
  • Must be an energetic leader
  • Must continually be growing one’s craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and the team

Basic Qualifications:


We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Track record of working as the principle Scrum Master for a development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles and practices.
  • Current working knowledge of the Atlassian Tool set for software development, including the production of statistics and charts relevant to reporting i.e. burn down charts.


Preferred Qualifications:


If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • A track record of Project Management and/or Service Delivery skills.
  • A track record of managing a development team using automated testing.
  • A track record of working with Hadoop and big data technologies.
  • Good facilitation skills, able to lead reviews, retrospectives and planning sessions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stake holder management skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
  • The successful candidate must be able to spend time working away from home, if required
