Position: Scrum Master
Location: St. Louis, MO
Contract: 12 Months
Job Description:
The Scrum Master ensures the smooth operation of all Agile product team processes and activities, acting as the delivery lead for a product. This includes organizing and running daily stand-ups, sprint planning and sizing sessions, backlog grooming sessions, and end-of-sprint ceremonies. She/He is a guardian of the team’s mood. This role is responsible for tracking sprint progress and burn-down by creating dashboards and reports as needed. The Scrum Master ensures that everyone has a holistic view and helps facilitating discussions across different team members. Team is about 18 people. Rolling out Azure at coustomer’s globally, her team gets involved in global initiatives. In 2020 will continue project in a global fashion for North America. Would primarily be working heavily with Sheri and her tech leads, will eventually have four tech leads. Certifications would be great. Great is they worked with virtual teams. Worked in a global environment. Experience building out SCRUM also.
Technical Skills:
5+ years of working with software development teams in an agile environment.
Deep knowledge of agile practices and techniques.
Previous Scrum Master experience a plus.
Certifications a plus, for example SAFe, Scrum Master etc.
Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams is an advantage.
