Scrum Master

Blue Ridge Technologies is seeking a Scrum Master for their direct client in Philadelphia.

Job Responsibilities:

Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.

Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.

Maintain process documentation in collaboration with other Scrum Teams

Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments. Communicate with other management, developers, product owners and technical support specialists on product issues

Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices. Identify and remove impediments, prevents distractions and other obstacles to success. Empower the team to self-organize

Coach and mentor teams to identify efficiencies to improve our ability to release quality products early and often

Coordinate system and project dependencies for releases

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

6+ years in IT in technical or project management position

3+ years of experience in Agile software development environment

Scrum Master Certification Preferred

Experience with agile development tools,

Experience with JIRA a MUST
