A Day in the Life…
As Switchfly’s Scrum Master, you are responsible for the facilitation of daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings. You help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. You promote SAFe quality practices, help embrace SAFe core values, adopt and apply SAFe principles and implement SAFe practices. Your primary responsibility is assisting the self-organizing, self-managing team to achieve its goals. You reinforce the team rules of Scrum and any other guardrails the team has agreed upon.
The Fine Print
You have a strong knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, must be SAFe certified. You have an understanding of the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development. You understand the importance of the value of metrics and incremental delivery. You have knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories, etc. You are familiar with common development practices, service-oriented environments, and Agile practices. You have excellent oral and written communication skills!
