JOB DESCRIPTION

General Summary: Fusion Medical Staffing is searching for a passionate Scrum Master. The role is responsible for being the Scrum leader of multiple, small web development teams. The ideal candidate can facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings across the teams and their independent sprints. The person will also be responsible for assessing and improving the scrum maturity of the team members and overall teams.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years as a Scrum Master for a web development team
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and theory
  • Critical thinker with great problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of conflict resolution and team empowerment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Certifications (CSM, CSP, and/or CSPO)
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches (Kanban, Lean Thinking, etc.)
  • BS/MS degree or equivalent experience
  • Some technical background

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead Scrum for multiple small web development teams in their independent sprints
  • Facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings
  • Support development teams via a servant leadership style
  • Foster self-organized teams
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any impediments
  • Prepare and present reports on progress, successes, and failures
  • Coach and mentor team members to elevate their individual and the team’s scrum maturity
  • Work closely with Product Manager

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

This is a full-time, salaried position. The work week and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexible start/end times). Regular attendance is required
