Job Summary:

The Scrum Master is charged with planning and scheduling duties for all sprint ceremonies. Develops sprint plans, monitor and report status, raising risks and mitigating team level risk. The Scrum Master manages the delivery of code to meet quality requirements including performance and regression testing. The Scrum Master monitors the health of the team by managing the implementation improvements as suggested in team retrospectives and having feedback conversations with all team members on a regular basis. Is responsible for scheduling estimation and backlog grooming sessions to ensure the team starts each sprint with a story backlog that is ready to develop. Facilitates the daily scrum call.

  • Negotiates scope changes with the Product Owner Team based on Sprint results

  • Guides team through continual improvement process

  • Ensures that the process is followed, including issuing invitations to daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint planning and sprint retrospective
