What success looks like in this role:
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-sales
o Responsible for assisting the sales and pursuit teams on engagements within their region. This will be in the form of assigning resources to staff the pre-sales work and to help develop solution response content (RFP responses, SOW, orals presentations, etc.).
- Solutioning
o Responsible for working with the Solution Architect teams to ensure that the Transition/Transformation Oversight solution level of effort is properly sized and staffed. Help develop the transition/transformation methodology that will be used to implement the services. Will help review the solution areas of the other work streams to help identify where there may be gaps in the solution.
- Delivery
o Responsible for the quality of the delivery of transition/transformation work within the region, as performed by the team of Transition Directors and Transition Managers within the region.
o Help to plan the resources that will be needed within the region to meet the demand plan within the region.
- Global Transition/Transformation Operations
o Ensure the team is adhering to the Transition & Transformation team global methodology processes and procedures and is compliant with all the reporting standards.
o Will help to update, revise, or develop new processes and procedures, as needed, to align with the corporate solutions in order to help their team members implement the solutions for Unisys customers.
- Direct Reports
o Ensure that the direct reports are meeting the global chargeability targets for the team.
o Manage the development of all team members and work to ensure that the team is aligned with company security and compliance requirements, including all HR activities, performance plan development and review, team training, etc.
- The first point of escalation for any issues during pre-sales or execution, responsible for all financial performance, schedule, CSAT, reporting and metrics
o Participation in Unisys global transition / project improvement initiatives
o Interacts with customer IT management (including executive management), internal Unisys services organizations, and vendor partners as required.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years relevant work experience.
- Must have experience managing large teams in transitions, transformation, program, or project management within IT Managed Services
- Must have excellent Program and Project Management experience
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) preferred
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have experience developing, managing, and maintaining project based P&L reports
- Must have experience with highly complex projects (e.g., multiple service lines, multiple geographies, projects with revenue size >$5M transition/project budgets)
- Must be able to travel nor more than 25% of the time.
