Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Conduent Business Services (Commercial Sector, Analytics) is seeking a strong Project Manager with team building skills. This opportunity requires a broad and deep knowledge of EDRM and Relativity. The Project Manager must demonstrate the ability to communicate with General Managers (GM) and internal teams with a high degree of confidence and competency. Should be capable of regularly contributing to improvement efforts and demonstrate leadership within the team.

This Project Manager position will be located at 100 Renaissance Center Drive (T100/L2), Detroit, Michigan, and will report directly to Manager of Delivery.


Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Provide high-level consulting on best eDiscovery practices and proper and most efficient workflows
  • Provide management recommendations, guidance, strategies, leading industry practices, and troubleshooting suggestions relating to GM eDiscovery needs.
  • Coordinate and participate in new matter eDiscovery kickoff meetings
  • Evaluate ESI workflows and processing methods and assist GM in selecting most efficient and cost effective options
  • Coordinate the submission and processing of ESI, tracking status, validating that ESI submitted for processing has been processed per GM’s specifications
  • Provide data loading metrics and reporting
  • Perform GM requested database operations, maintenance and first tier end user support activities (as needed by GM) throughout the duration of the project. Ability to delegate these activities to qualified personnel as needed.
  • Perform project analysis, review strategy, search strategy, special report generation and research
  • Provide end-user training services for eDiscovery databases and applications, including Relativity
  • Define coding layouts and views within database repository
  • Propagate annotations and redactions and implement event handlers
  • Continuously monitor multiple projects and jobs to ensure deadlines are met, projects are completed per GM, and that job specifications are closely followed
  • Act as final layer of quality control for any work product being delivered to GM
  • Review, analyze, and resolve billing issues related to any AD eDiscovery services and any GM vendor invoices
  • Provide data hosting maintenance services such as tracking matter activity for hosted data to suggest potential nearline or offline archiving, and monitor user accounts for each Relativity environment and other platforms
  • Manage corporate GM vendors and their processes for filtering, deduplication, near deduplication, text and metadata extraction of ESI, email threading, Optical Character Recognition (“OCR”), exception/error handling and reporting, and sampling and clustering
  • Provide mentorship to other team members, including other onsite and remote Project Coordinators and Project Managers

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Very strong project management background with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as Project Manager in the eDiscovery industry
  • A keen working knowledge of the litigation process and a strong understanding of the use of technology to support litigation efforts with an emphasis on discovery, analytics, document productions, electronic document management, coding and legal review protocols
  • Experience with, and a solid understanding of a variety of eDiscovery Hosted Platforms including Relativity.
  • RCA or equivalent level capabilities required.
  • Additional kCura certifications highly valued.
  • Strong ability and understanding of the Relativity user interface and administration tools
  • Understanding of Relativity Analytics with the ability to run a case through all facets of the analytics workflow
  • Excellent Customer Service, Organization, Project Management, Documentation
  • Strong communications skills (interpersonal, written and verbal) required)
  • Detailed planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to think strategically, drive solutions or processes and effectively and efficiently solve problems
  • Ability to work the required extended hours common with litigation support and to be on-call as needed
  • 3-5 years managing complex full life-cycle electronic evidence Project management/coordination experience
  • Must consent to and successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings (i.e. background and/or substance abuse, etc.)
  • Must be currently eligible to work in the United States for any employer

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • College degree (with business management or IT emphasis) preferred
  • Industry certifications are a significant plus.
  • Related Certified Admin credentials required for Senior level positions.
