Project Manager requires daily interactions with Account Stakeholders with a focus on administering and directing project management activities of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions hardware. Daily tasks are comprised of implementing locking hardware/ mobile access technology for new hotel construction and/or hotel renovations projects; project sizes range in size and scope but are consistent with 150-1000+ locksets per project. Expect that each project will have an extreme level of technological/logistical complexity; there is a consistent work load of active projects at any given time. Proactive communication is pertinent throughout the life cycle of each project, collaboration with internal technical teams will be required to ensure that proper deployment of technology and hardware takes place in the field. It will be equally import to maintain daily contact with installation resources that are deployed in the field. Onsite pre-planning or kickoff meetings will be required from time to time so minimal travel may be required for this position.
What you will be doing:
- Provide a very high level of customer service and professionalism at all times to customers internal and external to the organization.
- Communicate at a high level with many stakeholders – will need to present a professional image.
- Establish and coordinate dates of activity with customers on a project by project basis.
- Ownership of assigned tasks as they are related to Project Management such as return material authorization, customer satisfaction calls during installation, project closeout.
- Ensure terms and conditions are applied and maintained in an effort to limit margin erosion on all projects.
- Responsible issuing schedule requests to the Field Services team for all labor mobilization requirements.
- As necessary, perform tracking duties/create delivery logs pertaining to the location and delivery of shipments all the while keeping customer continuously informed about status of material delivery.
- Utilize MS Dynamics AX and Teamwork Projects daily.
- Maintain correct and accurate cost accounting on projects (freight, installations, etc.).
- Administer end of project closeout call with customers with a goal of achieving 100% satisfaction from Customer.
- As required respond quickly to the emergency situations in order to meet the needs of customers and contractors.

- Advanced Proficiency with MS Office Products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Prefer 5-10 years’ experience managing highly complex projects.
- Understanding of door hardware and access control a plus.
- Will be required to obtain systems, mobile access and installation certification from our NAM training facility within the first 12 months of employment.
- Must work extremely well under pressure.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% as required.
