The Director of Student Success and Assessment is directly responsible to the Senior Associate Dean of the College. The Director is responsible for: (1) overseeing the College?s compliance with SACSCOC accreditation processes; (2) working with each academic program in creation, revision, and implementation of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) and overseeing the SLO process within the College; (3) understands all disciplinary accreditation standards throughout the College and assists each academic program in garnering information and data needed to compile self-study reports; and (4) working with the academic programs that focus on student success. In carrying out these responsibilities, the individual in this position must be able to apply knowledge and understanding to a wide variety of disciplines as well as understand the academic administration hierarchy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master?s degree in psychology, sociology, statistics or related field; minimum of two years work-related experience in assessment processes, program evaluation, survey creation, initiation and interpretation of results, and/or accreditation processes (mandates, processes, requirements, and final reporting).
