    Full-time 12-month, Exempt Position

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Associate Director supports recruiting efforts at all degree levels and will develop and deliver training for undergraduate & graduate recruiters. The Associate Director works with the Director and the VP for Enrollment Management in support of establishing individual recruiter and team goals.
    Additionally, this role is primarily internally focused with occasional travel requirements in support for department activities to be assigned. Strong attention to oversight and execution of relationship management strategy and admissions communications plan is expected.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Associate Director will take a leadership position within the office, helping to set the tone and pace for the teams’ actions and efforts in the recruitment cycle. An Associate Director of Admissions may serve to represent the Director in meetings and at offsite events.

    • Responsible for supporting recruiting efforts at the graduate and undergraduate level. Master the various steps in the enrollment process to include specialized areas such as financial aid through consistent outreach efforts.
    • Effectively communicate the value propositions of the university in order to provide an excellent student experience through various communication methods to enable prospective students to make an informed decision for the appropriate academic program.
    • Utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills to address and resolve student issues, ensure a positive student experience and exceed performance standards through personal effort contribution to the admissions team.
    • Contributes to the growth of the university by guiding prospective students through the University’s enrollment process and assessing potential applicants to determine if they are qualified to apply and enroll in selected academic programs.
    • Consistently manage information/data using client relationship management systems (CRM) while observing confidentiality of information in a regulated environment.
    • Analyze internal reports and assist in recommendations for updating procedures and best practices
    • Maintains positive relationships with students to help support program persistence and generate referral activity.
    • Work collaboratively to build a strong team relationship by working with direct team and other functional departments.
    • Assist Director in creating and supporting enrollment projections, to include assignment to special projects.
    • Participation in training sessions and activities to facilitate student enrollments and team collaboration is expected.
    • Responsible for the review of applications and the driving the completion of partial applications
    • Responsible for conducting and coordinating outreach campaigns in support of admission activity and business development initiatives
    • Assist with non-traditional student recruiting and coordination of admissions events as needed.
    • Lead the coordinating operations for all on-campus and virtual undergraduate recruitment events. Execution of internal communications to faculty, staff and administration in reserving campus space, IT services and confirming presenters and volunteers will fall to the Associate
    • Director as will follow up communication and coordination with candidates of special events.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have valid driver’s license and be able to travel.
    • Must have a reliable fully insured vehicle capable of handling movements within assigned recruitment territory
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
    • Flexibility, dedication, initiative, confidentiality and the ability to learn.
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 3+ years of professional or related experience preferred to include : Minimum 1 year of Contact Center Experience
    • Experience with CRM software
