Job Mission

Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing a technical/custom project ranging up to $1,000,000 in project value. From the creation of “Custom Statement of Work (SOW) and managing projects from budgeting, planning and job completion.

DUTIES

  • Defines and manages scope through project planning and recurring reporting including scope, cost, schedule, etc.
  • The main point of contact for Integration Project Managers for timely review of all RFQ’s, to include; all professional services activity, resource, schedule, SOW, attend meetings, and project management of technical application engineering projects. Scheduling requires coordination between multiple cross-functional groups customers and suppliers.
  • Scheduling requires a recurring review of baseline and actual schedules, updating revisions to baseline, and key milestones.
  • Forecasting future requirements and understanding SOW’s from both integration projects and custom project cost is required. Act as the main customer-facing for all Professional Services and Advanced Services.
  • Help support Advanced Services by defining standard service offerings and help maintain product portfolio.
  • Reviews and publishes meeting notes.
  • Drives project action items, and they report on their progress.
  • Presents project plans and requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Delivers and completes projects to our clients
  • Review RFQ and Custom Statement of Works (SOW)
  • Project planning (including developing SOW, resource, budget, price)
  • System review
  • Attend client meetings and project reviews
  • Manage projects that are heavily application engineering focused
  • Act as point of contact for integration projects and Advanced Services
  • Support Advanced Services business development as needed
  • Develops a relationship with customers and cross-functional groups and suppliers
  • Maintains current technical project job plans and specifications
  • Manages job costs and schedules
  • Forecasts future RFQ requirements and specifications

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct reports or managerial responsibilities.

TRAVEL

This position has occasional local travel and occasional business travel requirements.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
