    BEKO Technologies Corp is a manufacturer of all the ancillary components and system solutions associated with compressed air and gas and we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with strong Sourcing and Materials Management experience.

    Summary

    The Supply Chain Manager position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, or coordination for all purchasing, material management, warehouse, logistics, and shipping activities. Keys for success are a strong customer focus and understanding customer needs with an effort to control costs, and improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety. As well as, examine existing procedures to identify opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs including increased on-time deliveries to customers. In addition to, directing the movement, storage, and/or processing of all inventory whether on or off-site.

    Essential Functions

    • Supervise staff; including training, setting expectations, and holding team members accountable, including progressive discipline.
    • Selection, development, and assessment of staff.
    • Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the material management operations.
    • Develop and communicate material management policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Plan, organize, direct, manage, and evaluate the material management activities.
    • Oversee the purchasing, shipping, logistics, receiving, and material handling of the organization.
    • Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
    • Create and present a yearly business plan including a concept which includes a vision, targets and strategies.
    • Create a quarterly report to the Vice President.
    • Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
    • Appraise vendor manufacturing quality and delivery ability through on-site visits and measurements.
    • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders.
    • Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
    • Monitor forecasts to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and quality management in order to identify, qualify, and on-board new suppliers that are beneficial to the business.
    • Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, position responsibilities, or system flows.
    • Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for raw materials and finished products.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    The Supply Chain Manager role has direct management responsibilities for the teams within the Purchasing, Material Management, and Warehouse areas of the organization.

    Required Education and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on purchasing or supply chain management, Engineering, or related field, with at least two years of management experience. Or a minimum of five years of proven experience in an increasingly responsible supply chain related role with some combination of education, and minimum of two years of supervisory or management position.
