Trinity Industries is looking for a Plant Manager in our Winder, Georgia plant.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage customer relationships
  • Develop business plan to enhance growth
  • Responsible for creating facility budgets to include P&L and MRO
  • Cultivate and develop a well-rounded leadership team
  • Provide leadership, training, team building, and supervision
  • Provide oversight for production volume, cost, and quality
  • Meet established production/delivery dates
  • Direct auxiliary plant functions to include: human resources, safety, material control, purchasing, estimating, maintenance, etc.
  • Ensure facility upkeep and preventative maintenance programs are operating to standards.
  • Recommend new equipment and layout changes
  • Seek to continually improve upon company standards and practices; champion for continuous improvement
  • Embrace Lean activities
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, EHS standards, and applicable FRA and AAR quality regulations
  • Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency co-exist on a daily basis

What You’ll Need:

  • Four year degree in Manufacturing Engineering preferred; 3 years or more manufacturing operations management and supervision experience required
  • 3 years manufacturing repair facility experience preferred
  • 3 or more years manufacturing continuous improvement experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints and production drawings and plan cost efficient work procedures that meet quality requirements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; specifically Excel and Word
  • Experience with Time & Attendance system; Kronos preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to communicate across all levels
  • Deep understanding of how to manage and plan for labor hours

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 /year

Experience:
