Hickory Woods Apartments , a member of The Caton Companies, is seeking a Marketing Manager for its Roanoke location.

Summary/Objective
The Marketing Manager seeks to professionally manage the marketing of Hickory Woods Apartments so as to maximize income and minimize expenses while protecting and improving value. The Marketing Manager seeks to rent 100% of all units at the highest rents the market will bear to the best residents possible.

Supervisory Responsibility
To hire, train, schedule and supervise all marketing associates.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an hour for lunch. Weekends (in a rotation) are expected as well as occasional evenings.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position. Occasional need to utilize personal transportation to inspect apartment property and surrounding neighborhood, make trips to bank and also visit corporate office.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of apartment property marketing management normally acquired by two years of college or comparable work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five years’ experience in property marketing management
