PURPOSES
This is a contract position that collaborates with a professional team of solution managers, project managers, analysts, quality assurance engineers and designers to deliver high-quality technical products and services for customers and partners within the organization. This role interacts with customers and partners to ensure an excellent experience while delivering technical solutions.
The projects managed have a moderate scope and time frame and may affect more than one Church department. This position normally receives moderate instruction on day-to-day work and only general instructions on new assignments. May interface with department directors and managing directors.
This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
Primary work location will be the Riverton Office Building with the ability to attend required meetings at the Church Office Building.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively interacts with other project managers, customers, engineers and other team members managing projects in temples while:

Planning projects and documenting project requirements, costs, schedules and deliverables

Gathering project and other metrics to create executive reports
-

Manages and executes projects by:

Reviewing and editing site plans
-
Preparing project documentation
-
Attending and directing meetings
-
Maintaining project meeting minutes including follow-up action items

Aligns and follows standard processes to assure quality and consistency of the solutions

Ensures IT risks (including security, compliance, business continuity, etc.) are identified and appropriately addressed

Addresses complex problems and effectively escalates them as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelorâs degree in related field or equivalent experience
-
6+ years in IT project management or technology management; experience in a global IT organization desirable

Must also have experience with Cisco Networking, Cisco Telephony, server technologies, Microsoft SharePoint, Office and Project 2013, Lucidchart

Strong, broad technology background with an understanding of industry project management best practices

Proven ability to build and maintain productive working relationships

Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
-
Proven success in leading IT projects

Any language skills are a plus

WORTHINESS QUALIFICATION
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
