New York Environmental, an established environmental consulting firm based in Port Washington, NY is seeking to fill an open Project Manager position. For nearly 30 years, NY Environmental has served clients throughout the greater NY metropolitan area, helping them navigate and comply with various local, state, and federal environmental regulations to protect the environment and public.
Project Manager Requirements
- Prior experience in the environmental consulting field
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Office, Excel
- Prior NYCSCA or other city agency experience a plusProject Manager Responsibilities
- Management and oversight of asbestos abatement projects
- Scheduling and oversight of Project Monitors
- Management and oversight of lead-based paint related projects; conducting lead inspection and evaluations for clients
- Assist in report writing, including preparation of re-occupancy letters,
- Compile work logs, and assemble project summary tables for billing.Please note that the nature of the position will require regular work outside normal business hours (e.g., nights and weekends).
Salary is commensurate upon experience; benefits include paid holidays and sick leave, as well as health insurance and company 401(k) with matching following a vesting period.
