Position Purpose:

The e-Learning Manager of eLearning Development will play a vital role in leading eLearning team members on course and instructional media projects that support best practices in online teaching and learning. Works closely with subject matter experts, technical writers, and internal/external partners. Manages the development, analysis, and design of custom e-Learning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs analysis to ensure all development materials are focused on addressing business outcomes.
  • Create design documents, content outlines, storyboards, A/V scripts, and other supporting documents to support the development of new LMS programs.
  • Possess key skills necessary for high-quality program development – strong computer literacy, strong technical-writing and editing skills, knowledge of graphic design principles, and strong project management skills.
  • Author instruction documents to include leader guides, participant guides, and leader-led support tools.
  • Evaluate and Monitor the effectiveness of programs and deliverables by planning and executing evaluation plans to track outcomes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Program and manage all assigned training programs during the design and development phases to ensure their accuracy, credibility, and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and critical thinking skills when managing changes in scope, implementation, and priority of a project.
  • Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and professionally with internal and cross-functional teams.

Position Qualifications:

  • As a leader, you need to be able to clearly and succinctly explain to your employees everything from organizational goals to specific tasks. Communicate ideas and concepts effectively.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging eLearning tools and applications.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to discover new approaches to problem solving.
  • Must be able to multitask several projects and show strong organizational & communication skills.
  • Understanding of LMS systems preferably Topyx and Adobe Captivate.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Position requires working at a desk at the corporate office for periods of time up to eight hours
