Our Client, a nationally recognized market leader in Drilling and Completions Testing, Inspection and Certification, seek a Business Development Manager to further develop their Gulf Coast offering

This position is responsible for both new business and existing account development within designated clients; leading management of client programs, developing plans and implementing growth strategies for the D+C market portfolio.

Individuals will be well versed in Direct Sales, Target Driven and have a good understanding of the North America market for testing, inspection and certification within Drilling and Completions.

Responsibilities will include

  • Development and implementation of ‘win’ strategies for targeted clients
  • Client interface to ensure high levels of customer service
  • Ensuring alignment of company resources with client needs and expectations to realize client satisfaction.
  • Forecasting and delivery of revenue against account portfolio.
  • Manage price negotiation, discounts, contracts and RFP’s between client and company.
  • Monitor, identify and communicate to relevant parties any risk or opportunities based on continuous review of the health of the account.
  • Manage client meetings and presentations along with participating in training seminars and/or tradeshows.
  • Maintain account activity in CRM system

Reporting directly into the VP of Sales, this position requires extensive travel to client offices and job sites.

Applicants will have a previous record of sales quota achievement and development and execution of strategic customer plans. In addition, they will have

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in Testing, Inspection and Certification (or equivalent education/ experience combination)
  • Experience and contacts within the Drilling and Completions market
  • General competency in technical regulations, standard and Drilling and Completion inspection and engineering service compliancy requirements
  • Proven ability to develop and lead sales forecasting activities, budget development and performance goals
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management and presentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 /year
