ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER:
SUMMARY:
North Metro-Atlanta area mechanical and plumbing contractor in business for 29 years seeks to hire a full-time Plumbing / HVAC Assistant Project Manager. Assistant Project Manager will work directly under a Project Manager on day to day duties of a project, as well as other related activitie to assist in managing projects in various construction markets including K-12, higher education,
industrial, healthcare, laboratory, design build, etc.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Submittals & O & M’s
- Permitting
- Planning & Defining Scope/ Review All Job Documents
- Developing Schedules
- Approving Invoices
- Change Orders & Cost Allocation
- Schedule of Values/ Pay applications/ Collections
- Problem Solving
- Document Distribution
- Issuing PO’s, Subcontracts, Etc.
- Working with GC’s Subs & Vendors
- Working in a team environment
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering Graduate or Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management related to plumbing
& mechanical piping
- Math
- Reading and understanding engineer’s specifications and drawings
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook, various document clients such as ftp
servers, iSqft, Grade Beam, municipal procurement sites, etc.
- Communication with team members, vendors, and customers
- Professional demeanor
